Apple has agreed to a $95 million settlement to resolve a lawsuit accusing the company of using its virtual assistant, Siri, to secretly record and share users' conversations through iPhones and other devices. The lawsuit, filed five years ago, alleged that Siri activated without the trigger phrase "Hey, Siri," and recordings were shared with advertisers. Although Apple denies wrongdoing, the proposed settlement awaits approval. If approved, consumers with devices from 2014 to 2022 may claim up to $20 per device, capped at five claims per individual.
